about the site (tentative)

something about w**blys site editor not having been updated even after sq**res acquistion of it left a lot of things to desire. so to, sort of, satiate said desires im dredging up my past in less-than-mediocre t*mblr css editing and the little coding literacy taught from my less-than-educational intro to python course in college for this.

we'll see how much i last, if i manage to get past the starting point.

(again, god tests his bravest soldiers)

disclaimer

i made all of these ocs when i was in middle school-high school (before 2014). after developing a semblance of social consciousness, my oc's existences and backgrounds have been frankensteined almost to the point of being butchered, and that'll be very evident in the few relics i choose to toss up on here.

but to copy+paste my (still accurate) real disclaimer: a lot of these guys are constant work in progresses and, as far as i know, they will be eternal works in progresses. i acknowledge my shortcomings among them and i'm constantly working for a more varied and fun group of characters to work with as i expand my own horizons.

to be honest, i don't know exactly where i'm going with most of them. for now, they exist strictly for my personal enjoyment and self-reflection (i guess that's what you can call it) and will never be for the greater public's consumption; dont expect this purpose to change.

about the sitemaster (tentative)

"dont perceive me" i say as i post up my ocs that ive projected my personal flaws into and all my 3/4th facing the left portraits that very much expose who and what i am as a being.

shoe, they/them, 21+, post-bachelors

void of an existence. part of why i'm starting this endeavor is to say on my resume that i have a "foundational" understanding of basic html-based coding and that i taught myself something while being freshly unemployed (voluntary) and waiting for an opportune time to enroll in community college. you can tell im a fan of run-on sentences and whatever other syntactic faults i exhibit-- its a residual trait from being illiterate and my writing style from undergrad (also my continued use of tw*tter). academia never said you had to be good at writing; you just have to throw words at a wall and hope they stick.

other than creating content to scratch very particular, very self-indulgent design itches i like to think and stare at mechanical and topre keyboards and watch vtubers.
